1. Business Information
Sunshine Beautician is a walk-in beauty service based in the Indoor Market, next to the Rag Market, Birmingham. We operate strictly on a first-come, first-served basis and do not take appointments.
Ear piercing services are carried out by trained practitioners with experience in professional Caflon system ear piercing techniques.
2. Treatments & Client Responsibility
All treatments are carried out by trained staff using appropriate professional methods and equipment.
Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or skin sensitivities prior to treatment. For piercing services, this includes (but is not limited to) conditions such as diabetes, heart conditions, epilepsy, blood disorders, skin conditions, allergies to metals or antiseptics, or use of blood-thinning medication.
By proceeding with treatment, the client confirms that all information provided is accurate and complete. Sunshine Beautician accepts no liability for complications arising from undisclosed or inaccurate or incomplete medical information.
3. Piercing Services
Ear and nose piercings are performed using a professional Caflon-style system with sterile single-use disposable components. No needles are used for these procedures.
All clients must complete and sign a consent form prior to any piercing being carried out.
Clients acknowledge that healing times vary and that they are responsible for following aftercare guidance provided verbally at the time of treatment.
4. Aftercare & Liability
Clients are responsible for the care of their piercing after leaving the premises. Failure to follow aftercare advice may result in infection, irritation, or delayed healing.
Sunshine Beautician is not responsible for complications resulting from:
- Failure to follow aftercare instructions
- Undisclosed medical conditions
- Client negligence or external irritation after treatment
5. Pricing & Refund Policy
All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
No refunds are offered for completed services or correctly performed treatments.
Piercing jewellery and consumable items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable due to hygiene reasons.
6. Data Protection & Privacy
We collect and store personal information necessary to provide services and meet health and safety obligations.
All client data is stored securely in password-protected systems and retained only for as long as necessary for legal and operational purposes (for up to 3 years unless required longer by law).
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
Our website may use cookies and tracking tools to improve user experience, monitor traffic, and support marketing activities via third-party platforms. Users may control cookie settings through their browser.
7. Consent & Record Keeping
By receiving treatment, clients consent to the collection of relevant information required for safe service delivery.
