Age Eligibility, Vaccinations & Allergies
We offer baby ear piercing from 3 months old, provided your baby has received their first DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis) vaccination, and the piercing is considered suitable. Please disclose any allergies, metal sensitivities, skin conditions or relevant medical concerns before the piercing. The parent or legal guardian must disclose any relevant information about the child.

Babies have unpredictable schedules. Walk in Monday to Saturday from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM whenever your baby is well-fed and rested — no appointments needed.
Baby Ear Piercing Aftercare Routine
Follow these official CAFLON guidelines twice daily to promote healthy healing.
Clean Hands Always
Wash hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap and warm water before touching your baby’s ears, earrings, or aftercare bottle.
Cleanse Twice Daily Front & Back
Apply CAFLON Natural Solution generously to the front and back of both earlobes twice daily using a clean cotton wool ball or pad.
Quarter Turn (90°) While Cleansing
During cleaning, gently rotate each stud a quarter turn (90 degrees) clockwise and anti-clockwise 2–3 times. Avoid continuous 180° or 360° spinning to prevent baby hair wrapping around the post.
Keep Dry Between Cleanings
Pat gently dry with clean tissue after baby baths. Keep baby shampoo, lotions, and soaps away from the new piercings.
Check Butterfly Safety Notch
Check that the butterfly back rests comfortably in the safety groove at the tip of the post. Do not push the backing tight against the earlobe.
Leave Studs in Place for 6 Weeks
Keep the original 9ct gold studs in place continuously for at least 6 weeks before switching earrings.
If redness, swelling, or pain persists beyond 48 hours, seek medical advice promptly.

We provide CAFLON Natural Solution free of charge with every baby ear piercing. Apply twice daily front and back following our aftercare instructions.
Do I need to book in advance?
No appointment is needed — Sunshine Beautician operates on a walk-in basis. Simply visit us Monday to Saturday between 12:00 PM and 5:30 PM at your convenience. You are welcome to drop by whenever fits best into your baby’s feeding and nap schedule.
Can my baby go swimming after getting pierced?
We advise avoiding public swimming pools, hot tubs, and lakes for the initial 6-week healing period to minimise exposure to bacteria.
What payment methods do you accept?
Card payments are accepted across all our services, as well as cash. Feel free to pay by card upon arrival.
What if my child has a known metal allergy or sensitive skin?
Please tell us before the piercing begins if your baby or child has any known allergies, metal sensitivities or previous reactions. We use 9ct gold studs for infant piercings to provide a high level of biocompatibility, and we will discuss all available options with you before proceeding.
